Fernandes The Revival RTE-70 59 model Telecaster.

This particular model was featured in catalogs from 1981 to 1985 and is a rare model that is hardly ever seen on the used car market.

While the "RTE-60" was released as a 59 model, this one features body binding.

The '59 model features a bound body made of a two-piece center body of alder wood (excellent quality wood with a beautiful grain similar to bookmatched wood. It's also lightweight, resulting in excellent resonance).

The neck is made of one piece of maple wood and features a slab board made of high-quality, jet-black rosewood.

The body color is called YSO (Yellow Sunburst Old), and the fact that this three-tone sunburst color scheme, which transitions from clay dots to a reddish hue, was already reproduced in the 1980s is truly impressive.

The pickups are the original vintage-type pickups.
It has that gritty, Telecaster-like sound, but with a fat tone that also feels full and substantial.

Furthermore, it features a spiral bridge, flat-type knobs, and Kluson-type tuners, establishing a style that is closer to that of a vintage guitar.

The guitar itself is very lightweight and easy to play while standing, making it an excellent instrument.

Regarding the finish, Japanese-made instruments from this period use a poly finish, but it's applied very thinly, so thinly that the wood grain underneath becomes visible as it ages. This is why they have good resonance and are lightweight.

When you think of the Revival series, you usually picture a "revival" logo on the headstock, but with this particular model , some units don't have the "revival" logo at all, and others have a different logo design like this one. It seems the logo shape changed depending on the year of manufacture. I estimate this unit was probably made around 1984-85.

In terms of external condition, the body has minor scratches and dents.

The metal parts, including all the screws, bridge, and saddles, have been polished down to the smallest detail and are generally in good condition.

Currently, the string height at the 12th fret is approximately 1.8 mm for the 6th string and approximately 1.7 mm for the 1st string.

The nut width is 42 mm.
Weight: approx. 3.6kg

The frets have approximately 70-80% remaining.
Comes with a soft case.
