A semi-custom model, the Esparto, produced around 1979.

Equipped with VANZANDT pickups, it has a clear sound that gives it a vintage feel.

Established in 1975 by Hidetoshi Shiino, it is a guitar brand that has many fans not only in Japan but also overseas to this day, and is responsible for ESP's custom shop production from early 80's - today.

As its existence cannot be confirmed in the catalog from 1981 onwards, it is thought to be a model from the early days of the company, 1975-80.

At that time, it seems that it was a completely custom-order model, and various models were made.

There are quite a few scratches, but it does not affect playability.
The precision of each part and woodworking was of high quality for its time, and it seems that it would still be perfectly usable today. This is a recommended guitar for those seeking a vintage-like sound.

The body is made of sen wood.
The neck is maple, and the fingerboard is round-laminated rosewood.
The neck shape is a U shape close to a V, and although it feels thick, it is easy to hold and does not feel awkward.
It has a 648mm long scale, 21 frets, and a bolt-on joint.

The pickups have been replaced with VANZANDT pickups.
The front and middle pickups have gold coils and are TRUE VINTAGE.
The rear pickup has a red coil and is thought to be ROCK.
The sound is centered on the mid and high frequencies, and has good projection and a clear impression.

The controls
consist of one volume, two tone controls, and a three-position selector switch.
The entire assembly has been replaced, and CTS potentiometers are used.
The springs have been replaced with RAW VINTAGE springs

Accessories include a leather soft case and a tremolo arm.
