An early model from the JV serial era given to early Fender Japan guitars. It has traditional specifications with an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The neck date indicates 1983. The body has a "C" stamp and uses original pickups with black bobbins.
The POTs and selector are original parts, but the jack has been replaced. It is finished in Candy Apple Red and is in fantastic condition with only minor scratches and dents commensurate with its age.
The frets have about 70-80% remaining. The neck is almost perfectly straight. The truss rod has ample adjustment range for both tightening and loosening, allowing for future changes.
