This is a used Tokai LS-80. (There is an "80" stamped on the end of the fretboard.)
 
The serial number "9002***" indicates it was manufactured in 1979.
 
Another characteristic of this period is the "Les Paul REBORN" logo on the headstock.

Upgraded from circuit board wiring to point wiring.
 
The slightly thicker neck grip and plain top give it a strong feel of being a replica of the original 1958 model.
 
The neck is not warped and there is plenty of adjustment range in the truss rod.
 
There is some fret wear on the 2nd and 3rd strings, but I don't notice any buzzing or dead spots.
There are no contact issues.
 
A cloudy, whitish paint finish characteristic of this period can be seen on the headstock.
 
A genuine hard case is included.
